WILD CLAY
My artistic practice is rooted in Fanø, a Danish island where the natural environment deeply informs my work. I work with locally sourced wild clay, allowing the raw material to guide the process. 🌾🐚🌊
The clay’s mineral composition, texture, and responsiveness to fire are integral to the outcome. Influenced by the island’s dunes, tides, and coastal erosion, my ceramic forms embody organic structures and surface variations that reflect the dynamic relationship between land and sea.
Each piece is a collaboration with place, material, and time.
